Is it a gift or a card?
It can be both. Many people give the film as the gift itself; others send the link as the card for a physical present. The poster, printed and framed, stands on its own.
Can I put the birthday date on it?
The poster and the film carry your names, the year it started and the lines written for you. The occasion guides the tone of the text; the timeline with dates comes with the pack, and you can add the birthday as a moment.
Do I need an account?
No. Make and see your story without signing up. If you unlock the pack, we email you a private link so you can come back.
How many photos do I need?
Three to six. Phone photos are perfect. Use the ones you love, even the imperfect ones.
What happens to my photos?
They're stored privately and used only to make your story. Delete them whenever you like; unpaid stories are removed automatically.
Is the free part really free?
Yes. The poster and the film are yours in preview quality, with a small mark. Unlocking removes the mark, raises the resolution and adds the timeline, cards and wallpaper.
Can I change the words?
Yes, as often as you like. Edit any line and every piece is made again in under a minute.
Can I send it early and have it open on the day?
Yes. On your story's page, pick a date under “Open only on the day” and send the link whenever you like. Until then, whoever opens it sees only their name, who it is from and a countdown; on the day, the story opens. Link previews show nothing early either.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Within 7 days of the purchase you can ask for a full refund, no reason needed: just write to us. After that, if something went wrong with your story, we fix it or refund you.
